What is Ceroc?

Ceroc® Dance modern jive is a social partner dance that can be danced to a wide range of music from chart toppers to old favourites. Ceroc Dance is likened to a fusion of Salsa and Jive but does not have complicated footwork. Ceroc Dance classes & lessons are fun, a great way to keep fit and to meet people. It can be danced by first-time dancers with “two left feet” and accomplished dancers.
No need to book, come by yourself, with a partner or group of friends. Just walk into our dance classes in New Plymouth and Ceroc will have you dancing out!
Apart from dance classes, we also also offer Wedding Dance tuition for your first dance, private dance lessons, workshops, dance parties, dance competitions and lots of social dancing.

Competitions & Workshop Weekenders:

Although Ceroc is a social dance form, and was initially created to get people dancing, competitions are held throughout the year for those dancers who want to push ourselves that little bit further. Although they can be a lot of hard work they can be very rewarding and are a great way to improve our dancing. Competitions are also a great excuse to travel away and catch up fellow Cerocers from around the country.
